Where Have We Been?
Born innocent, without sin (Ecclesiastes 7:29)
All who have reached an accountable age have sinned (Romans 3:23)

Mark 16:16 – baptism not in second clause (but if one does not believe, they naturally will not obey)

What Makes Us Brethren?
By faith we have been baptized into Christ (Acts 2:37-38; Galatians 3:26-29; 1 Corinthians 12:13)
What if one does this but joins an institutional church or a denomination? Still a brother
What if one doesn’t do this, but is religious and claims belief in God/Jesus? Not a brother
