Text: John 10:11
What Makes Jesus the Good Shepherd?
- He calls His own sheep by name (John 10:3)
- He goes ahead of them (John 10:4)
- He provides an abundant life (John 10:10)
- He lays down His life for the sheep (John 10:11)
- No one can take His sheep away (John 10:28
Dangers that We Face
- Thieves (John 10:1,8) – Those who want the sheep for their own (Acts 20:30)
- Hired hands (John 10:12-13) – Those who are only watching out for themselves
- Wolves (John 10:12) – Those who wish to destroy the sheep (Acts 20:29)
What Must the Sheep Do?
- Follow Him (John 10:4,27)
- Distinguish His voice (John 10:4-5)
