Two Views of the Message – foolishness or the power of God

Inherent Conflict between God’s Wisdom & Man’s – due to man’s arrogance

People Want Something More – Jews wanted signs, Gentiles wanted wisdom

We Must Not Give Them More – the gospel is sufficient

God Is Greater than Man – trust in His way
