Why is this a “great conspiracy”?
- Could lead to the destruction of our soul – Matthew 10:28
- Relates to the question, “what must I do to be saved?”
What do the Scriptures say? – Acts 2:37-38; 9:6,18 (22:16); 16:30-31; Romans 10:9-10
- Belief, repentance, confession, baptism
What do men say?
- Saved by faith alone
- Pray the sinner’s prayer
- Generally, baptism is rejected
Why does Satan want men to reject baptism?
- Baptism puts one into Christ – Romans 6:3; Galatians 3:27
- Baptism washes away sins – Acts 22:16
- Baptism is our entrance into the church – Acts 2:41,47; 1 Corinthians 12:13
- Baptism saves us – 1 Peter 3:21
The servants of Satan – 2 Corinthians 11:13-15
